Set in riverine forest 15 km downstream from the confluence of the Zambezi and Kafue rivers, Wildtracks Lodge is situated on the doorstep of one of Africa’s great wilderness areas, the Lower Zambezi.
Only three hours drive from Lusaka, Wildtracks offers self catering accommodation for small or large groups, as well as camping, fishing and other activities. We have two large chalets sleeping four to eight people, three Meru style tents that can be configured according to your needs (two to six people each) and a luxury, en suite safari tent for two. Our large boma and swimming pool overlook the river and there is an open dining room with braai facilities where you can enjoy your meals prepared by our helpful and friendly staff. Wildtracks operates from March through November. We are becoming more and more popular and have a growing number of regular visitors, so booking is essential.
Whether you bring your own boat, or use one of the lodge boats, Wildtracks is the ideal base from which to explore the lower Zambezi. Relax, set your own pace and enjoy the slow pace of life in the Zambezi Valley. For the more adventurous we can also arrange excursions, canoe trips, multi-species fishing, sundowners on a sandbar and more.
